The Big One. A e s t h e t i c s. More levels. Slight, story advancement? Game mechanics like doors and such!






Well, I finally got those better isometric assets to snap together properly, and now levels look better. I changed a few things aesthetically like the main menu is now just the first level (that'll probably change though), I made the c in cataclysm uppercase so now it says Cataclysm, I added some water tanks or something in the first level. But I also had to totally rewrite a good chunk of the movement system to account for a new isometric grid. That took forever but I finally kind of did it. There is now a button in the second room that drains the strange opaque fluid from the first room and makes some cool alarm lights. And there is a way to die, it is just impossible to do right now, the kill zone is just blocked so you cant actually get killed yet, but if you did, there is a whole gameover screen that references another game etc. and I had to add a new gamemode for that. I am not gonna commit this to GitHub yet, I still have a few more kinks to work out and a few more things to add.
